#48 Parker Hogue would recover a short kickoff by SCHS to start the game.  #3 Cameron Turner would have a big first down run to help Hendersonville get points on their first possession as #24 Bryce DeGuira would be called on for a 38 yard field goal to give HHS an early 3-0 lead.  The Bison would pick up one 1st down on their first offensive series before #21 Frankie Small would have a tackle for loss to slow them down.  #72 Chris Kacprowski would get a big hit tackle for loss on 3rd down to force a punt.  HHS would be able to score again as #2 Jeremias Elston would start this drive with a first down run before Turner would rush to the 1 yard line to set up a 1st and goal.  Elston would run in for the first TD of the night.  A blocked PAT would leave the score at 9-0.  The Black & Gold defense would force a 3 & out following the score with #75 Brandon Dove getting a tackle for loss before he combined with #54 Daly Cull for a sack on 3rd down.  After the punt, HHS would have the ball at midfield.  #20 Terrell Carter would have a first down run before Elston connected with #10 Jack Towe on a pass for another COMMANDO touchdown.  After DeGuira’s extra point, the score would be 16-0.  After a 1st down run on the ensuing Bison possession, #37 Sam Pate & Kacprowski would combine for a tackle for loss as the 1st quarter came to an end.

Pate would get a sack at the beginning of the 2nd quarter then #6 Jarcques Wordlaw would get the first hit as HHS would gang tackle the Bison on a 4th down attempt.  After getting the ball back, #36 Jon Reed would convert a 3rd down with a run, but after giving up a sack, the COMMANDOS would have to punt.  Station Camp would look to have something going on their next series, but a penalty would negate a big run.  On the next play, HHS would get a defensive score.  #41 Chandler Gant would force a fumble that Carter picked up and ran into the endzone to make the score 23-0.  Reed, Dove, and #7 Weston Schwerdt would team up for a tackle for loss on the 1st play of the next series as HHS was able to force another 3 & out.  After a great punt, HHS would have the ball at their own 1 yard line.  The COMMANDOS would go 99 yards for a TD with runs by Carter, Towe, and Wordlaw; Carter would score on a 3 yard run with just over 1 minute left before halftime.  SCHS would pick up a 1st down on their next drive, but the first half would end 2 plays later with HHS up 30-0.

Station Camp would come out in the 2nd half and gain two first downs before Pate & Kacprowski would have a tackle for loss to help force a punt.  On the COMMANDOS first drive of the 2nd half, Wordlaw would have a 1st down catch on 3rd down and then he would rush the ball into SCHS territory.  Carter would then also have a 1st down catch before Hendersonville attempted a 44 yard field goal.  This attempt would be blocked as the HHS 10 play drive came up empty.  As the Bison got the ball back, #55 Emmitt Richardson would get a tackle for loss on the last play of the 3rd quarter.

The Bison would have back to back 1st down runs to start the 4th quarter before a tackle for loss by Weston Schwerdt would help force a punt.  Gant would come through and block this punt and #8 Drew Richard would pick up the ball and return it to the Bison 18 yard line.  After losing a yard on the first three plays of the drive, #4 Mike Harris would score with a 19 yard TD run on 4th down.  #81 Jordan Amis would force a fumble that Weston Schwerdt recovered on the 1st play of the next Bison drive.  Weston Schwerdt would also score the TD with a 4 yard run following the turnover to put HHS up 44-0.  On the ensuing Station Camp drive, #15 John Michael Oehlschlaeger forced a fumble that #91 Bryan Strahm recovered allowing the COMMANDOS to run out the clock.

Hendersonville (9-1) won District 9-AAA which gave the COMMANDOS an automatic playoff berth.  HHS will host Independence (6-4) next Friday at Memorial Stadium in a TSSAA class 6A first round playoff game.  Kickoff will be at 7:00.
