What Does Commando Football Mean To You: A group of young men not only becoming better football players, but becoming better men.

Justin had a good four year career for the COMMANDOS.  He was a versatile two sport athlete, and always did a good job in the classroom.  He was a great teammate during his career and was always willing to do whatever was asked of him to help his team.  He played quarterback, safety, and was consistently on Special Teams.  He also got some playing time on offense at split end.  He ended his career with 79 passing yards while completing 3 of 4 passes with 2 touchdowns.  Rushed the ball 1 time for (-2) yards, recorded 3 tackles and blocked 1 punt.  His work ethic, willingness to be coached, and leadership as a teammate shows that he had a lot of COMMANDO PRIDE.

2016-Had a good season for HHS, helping the team on offense and Special Teams.  On offense, his versatility to be able to play quarterback as well as split end was a big asset to the team.  He ended the season with 3 completions on 4 attempts passing for 79 yards with 2 of his completions going for touchdowns.  He also ran the ball 1 time for (-2) yards.  His passing attempts came in the games against Hillsboro, Glencliff, and Hunters Lane.  Had a career high 44 passing yards against Hunters Lane while throwing for 35 yards versus Glencliff where he also tossed a TD pass.  His lone rushing attempt was in the team’s season opening victory against McGavock.

2015-Moved during the season on offense from quarterback to split end, but has the ability to play either position on the offensive side of the ball.  Justin was a starter on Special Teams where he blocked a punt against Glencliff.  He played free safety on defense.  Ended the season with 1 tackle that was recorded versus Hunters Lane.  He also played in all of the JV games.

2014-Played on the JV team and saw a little game action on Friday nights.  Ended season with 2 tackles both of which came in the Portland game.

2013-Did a great job leading the offense from his quarterback position for the Freshman squad that ended the season with a perfect record.  He has a great understanding of the game and how to run the offense.  He also saw game action in the defensive backfield.  Justin wore jersey #15 for the Freshman team.
