What Does Commando Football Mean To You: It means hard work every day and coming together in a tight brotherhood that lasts forever.
James was a hard worker that consistently improved throughout his four years in the program. He was a good kid that always worked hard and was always trying to get better. He played in the defensive secondary and was a split end on offense; he also saw Friday night game action on Special Teams. Ended his career with 3 tackles and 3 pass break ups. His attitude and work ethic is something all players can work to obtain, and he will be missed by the COMMANDOS next fall.
2017-Saw time on Friday nights at split end on offense as well as at cornerback on defense. Worked hard throughout the season and improved each week. He also was a starter on Special Teams. Ended the season with 1 tackle that came in the Gallatin game.
2016-Saw limited game action in the defensive secondary as well as at split end on Friday nights while playing in all of the JV games. Ended the season with 2 tackles and 3 pass break ups on the defensive side of the ball. Had 2 pass break ups against Hunters Lane while adding 1 versus East Nashville. Both of his tackles were recorded against Glencliff.
2015-Played on the JV team.
2014-Made as much progress as anyone on the team as he improved throughout the year and became a great asset to his team. He saw game action in both the defensive backfield as well as at split end, and was a key contributor on Special Teams. He wore jersey #29 for the Freshman team.
