What Does Commando Football Mean To You: Family, work ethic, and toughness.

One of the hardest workers on the team both in the wieghtroom and with his practice habits, Wilson came on last year and had a terrific season for the COMMANDOS.  He was named 3rd team ‘ALL-COUNTY’ as a defensive lineman for his efforts during the season.  He has showed great improvement during each season and should continue that as he prepares for his senior season.  He is expected to be one of the team’s leaders up front this fall, and his leadership and level of play will have a great impact on the amount of success the COMMANDOS have in 2018.  He is likely to return as a starting defensive lineman this fall, and he will also have the opportunity to be a starter at tackle on the offensive line.  He is dedicated and shows COMMANDO PRIDE in everything he does, giving his all in the wieghtroom, practice field, class room, in the community, and on Friday nights.  He is a coachable player and should be a player to watch on Friday nights this fall.

2017-Had an excellent season being the teams 5th leading tackler with 38 stops on the season from his position on the defensive front.  Was named 3rd team ‘ALL-COUTY’ as a defensive lineman for his efforts throughout the season.  In addition to his 38 tackles, he also had 0.5 sacks, 4 QB hurries, 1 tackle for loss, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.  Recorded at least one tackle in all 11 games.  Led the team with a career high 6 tackles against Station Camp.  Forced fumbles against Centennial, Station Camp, Gallatin, and in the 1st round playoff game.  Had 2 QB hurries versus Gallatin while adding 1 against Station Camp and Lebanon.  Recovered fumbles against Franklin and Blackman in the playoffs.  His half sack was recorded in the playoff game.  On top of his solid play on the defensive line, he also saw game action on Friday nights on the offensive line at tackle as well as playing some on Special Teams.

2016-Played on the JV team while seeing some snaps on Friday nights on both sides of the ball.  Ended the season with 1 tackle and 1 QB pressure both came in the game against East Nashville.  His tackle against the Eagles was a QB sack.

2015-Was a starter on the offensive line and saw significant playing time at defensive end during the season for the Freshman squad, helping them to a 5-2 record.  He was also a major contributor on Special Teams.  He wore jersey #76 during his Freshman season.
