What Does Commando Football Mean To You: A family. A band of brothers who always have each others backs.

A great athlete that is very versatile, Cameron has the ability to play multiple positions on both sides of the ball.  He has a good understanding of the game and is a coachable kid that plays multiple sports for Hendersonville High School.  He will be competing for starting spots in all three phases of the game in 2018.  On offense, he has the ability to play quarterback, running back, and receiver in the COMMANDO offense.  On defense, he will be competing for the starting free safety position, and on Special Teams, he will have the opportunity to be one of the teams return men on kickoffs as well as play various other roles on the Special Teams units.  With a good offseason in the weightroom to improve his strength, and on the track to work on his speed and quickness, Cameron could be one of the team’s top performers next season.

2017-Had a productive season, drawing several starts at free safety in the defensive secondary.  He was a leader throughout the season in the defensive backfield always helping the defensive backs know their coverages and execute the defensive calls.  Ended the season with 24 tackles, 1 interception, and 2 pass break ups.  Led the team with a career high 5 tackles in the teams homecoming victory over Franklin.  Recorded at least 1 tackle in 9 of the team’s 11 games.  His interception came in the team’s victory at Gallatin when he also broke up a pass.  His other pass break up came against Lebanon.  He returned 1 kickoff during the season for 14 yards that was in the Lebanon contest.

2016-Played on the JV team while seeing limited action on Friday nights.  Ended the season with 2 tackles for the varsity team.  Recorded 1 tackle against both McGavock and East Nashville.

2015-Had a great season for the Freshman team being the starting quarterback all season long.  He showed a great work ethic, practice habits, and leadership.  He made the Freshman offense go as he help lead the team to a 5-2 season.  He was voted by his teammates as the Freshman teams ‘MOST VALUABLE PLAYER’ for his play during the season.  He wore jersey #11 for the Freshman team.
