What Does Commando Football Mean To You: It means brotherhood and working together as a team.

Jarius was a good addition to the team after moving to Hendersonville for his sophomore season.  Was voted as the teams 'Scout Team Award' winner which was voted on by his teammates in both his sophomore and junior seasons.  His excellent practice habits helped him to become a very good player for the COMMANDOS.  He was one of the teams’ leaders because of his superior work ethic.  Ended career with 28 tackles, 5 pass break ups, 1 fumble recovery, 1 QB hurry, 230 rushing yards on 43 carries, 1 catch for 1 yard, and 1 kickoff return for 5 yards.

2011-Had a good season earning a starting spot at Strong Safety on the defensive side of the ball, also saw some action at Running Back of the offensive side of the ball.  Battled through injuries for much of the season missing several games, but continued to work hard and encourage his teammates.  Was a leader in the locker room and practiced hard everyday.  Ended season with 21 tackles, 5 pass break ups, 1 fumble recovery, 1 QB hurry, and had 12 rushes for 77 yards and 1 touchdown.  Recorded a career high 6 tackles versus Germantown.  Had pass break ups versus Franklin, Wilson Central, Riverdale, Mt. Juliet, and Lebanon.  QB hurry came against Lebanon, and fumble recovery was against Mt. Juliet.  Had a career long rush of 30 yards in the season opener versus Station Camp, and scored TD versus Lebanon.

2010-After going through his first offseason with the COMMANDOS, Jarius was a starter at Running Back for HHS during several games as a junior.  He was also a reserve Linebacker.  He did an excellent job helping the team get to the State Championship Game through his work ethic during practice.  He was voted as the teams ‘Scout Team Award’ winner for the 2nd consecutive year by his teammates.  Started the entire season on Special Teams, and played on the JV team.  Ended season with 23 rushing attempts for 112 yards and 1 reception for 1 yard.  Also recorded 7 tackles and had 1 kickoff return that went for 5 yards.  Carried the football in 7 different games.  Had a career high 36 rushing yards on 6 attempts against Hunters Lane.  His season long rush of 14 yards was in the Station Camp game.  His kickoff return was against Riverdale.  Had 2 tackles versus Riverdale, Lebanon, and Hunters Lane; while he recorded 1 tackle against Mt. Juliet. 

2009-Joined team in the summer after transferring to HHS.  Was voted the 'Scout Team Award' winner by his teammates.  Was a player for the JV team.  Saw game action in multiple games, and ended season with 8 rushes for 41 yards.  Had a season high 23 rushing yards in the Portland game as well as his season long rush of 13 yards.

2008-Played at Maplewood High School in Nashville.
