What Does Commando Football Mean To You: Commando football gives me something to look forward to on Friday nights, and fighting for all your brothers on the field and being a leader in your community and wearing that 'H' proudly.

The teams’ leader in the trenches for the 2012 season, Brandon saw significant playing time in each of his 3 years as a varsity player during his 4 year career as a COMMANDO.  He was one of the teams’ most versatile linemen, having the ability to play multiple positions on both sides of the ball.  He was also one of the strongest players on the team.  Was voted by his teammates as the ‘Most Valuable Lineman’ for the 2012 season, and also earned 1st Team ‘All-County’ honors for his efforts his Senior season.  Ended career with 84 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 5 QB hurries, 7 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 defensive touchdown.

2012-Started in the trenches on both the Defensive and Offensive Lines.  Had the ability to play Noseguard and Tackle on defense, and could play Center, Tackle, and Tight End on offensive.  Was voted by his teammates as the teams’ ‘Most Valuable Lineman’, and was named 1st Team ‘All-County’.  Was consistent on the Offensive Line all season where he rarely came off the field.  He started games at Tackle, Center, and Tight End and was able to be effective at all three positions.  On defense, he ended season 6th on the team with 40 tackles, and led team with 3.5 sacks; he also had 3 tackles for loss and 2 QB hurries.  Recorded tackles in 9 of the teams 10 games, and led team in tackles in 4 straight games.  Recorded a career high with 9 tackles against Franklin, and then went on to lead the team in tackles in the next 3 games against Wilson Central, Germantown, and Portland.  Had sacks against Franklin, Portland, Riverdale, and Lebanon.  Had 2 tackles for loss in the Gallatin game and his other one was in the Wilson Central game.  Had 1 hurry versus both Franklin and Germantown.

2011-Was a starter at Tackle on offense, and had to make adjustments moving from End to a down Lineman on defense.  Also started some games on the Defensive Line, and rotated in the games that he did not start.  Recorded tackles in 13 of the teams 14 games ending the season with 32 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 3 QB pressures.  Had a season high of 5 tackles twice, as he recorded 5 tackles and 1 pressure in the Station Camp game and had 5 tackles with 1 being a sack and a forced fumble against Germantown.  His other sack was in the Riverdale game.  Tackle for loss came against Beech.

2010-Brandon was consistent all year in the rotation at Defensive End, and was also a backup at Center.  Had 12 tackles on the season along with 1 tackle for loss, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 defensive touchdown.  Recorded tackles in 8 different games including 2 in the second round playoff game versus Henry County and 1 in the State Championship game.  Had a season high 3 tackles versus Hunters Lane, a game which he also had a tackle for loss, and picked up a fumble that he ran into the endzone for a TD.  He also played on the JV team.

2009-Member of the Freshman team that finished their year with a record of 6-2.  Was the team’s starting Center as well as one of their starting Defensive Ends.
