What Does Commando Football Mean To You: Hard work, determination, coming together as a team, being a good person, and succeeding in life.

A four year COMMANDO, Believe was a good player, student, and person.  He had a solid career at Running Back for HHS, and was also in the rotation at Defensive Back and on Special Teams.  Ended his career with 816 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground, 3 receptions for 10 yards, 16 tackles, 7 pass break ups, and 1 forced fumble.  His 500 rushing yards in 2011 helped him earn ‘All-County’ honors.  His effective running style will be missed after he graduates from Hendersonville.

2012-Was a starter in the offensive backfield, a starter on special teams, and was in the rotation in the defensive backfield.  Was a dedicated worker and that helped him have another good season for the COMMANDOS.  On offense, he rushed the ball 52 times for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns while catching 1 pass that was his career long reception of 8 yards.  He carried the ball in 9 games.  Had a season high 45 rushing yards in the Wilson Central game.  Scored rushing touchdowns against Germantown, Portland, and Riverdale.  His reception was against Mt. Juliet.  Tallied 4 tackles and 5 pass break ups on the season.  Had a season high 2 tackles against Station Camp as well as Portland.  Recorded a career high 3 pass break ups in the Station Camp game, and added 2 more against Franklin.

2011-Had a productive season rushing the football during the season.  Had carries in all 14 games and saw limited action in the defensive secondary.  He was also a starter on Special Teams.  Was named Honorable Mention ‘All-County’ for his efforts.  Ended season with 500 rushing yards on 87 attempts and 4 touchdowns.  Added 2 yards receiving yards on 2 receptions.  On defense, he ended the season with 8 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 pass break up.    Had a career best 102 rushing yards in the 2nd Round of the playoffs versus Gallatin.  Led team in rushing against Riverdale when he had 76 yards on 8 carries that included 2 TD’s and his career long rush of 53 yards.  Also scored rushing touchdowns against Wilson Central and Lebanon.  His career long reception of 4 yards was against Station Camp, he also had a catch in the Gallatin game.  Recorded a career high 4 tackles in the Franklin game where he also forced a fumble.  Had 2 tackles and a pass break up in the Wilson Central game.  Made 1 tackle against Station Camp and Gallatin.

2010-Played on the JV team, and saw limited game action.  Ended season with 4 tackles and 1 pass break up on defense, and 14 rushes for 81 yards on offense.  Carried the ball in 7 different games.  Had a season best 31 yards including his season long rush of 14 yards in the Lebanon game.  Also had 1 carry for 4 yards in the State Championship game.  His pass break up came in the Hunters Lane game.  Recorded 2 tackles in both the Station Camp and Portland games.

2009-Missed first part of the season with an injury.  Was a starter on offense upon his return from injury.  Also played on defense at Cornerback for the Freshman team.
