What Does Commando Football Mean To You: Means giving your all and having a family, and having brothers you can lean on and depend on.

Ryan was a great addition to have back to the team for his senior season after not playing his sophomore and junior seasons as he battled through some injuries.  Ryan worked extremely hard throughout the entire offseason and made a big impact for the COMMANDOS in 2011.  He played some on offense at Split End and was a starter on both defense and special teams.  He was a critical part of the defense as he started at Corner and was the teams 5th leading tackler with 69 tackles.  Was named ‘2nd Team All-County’ for his efforts during his senior year.

2011-Had a solid year at Cornerback and on Special Teams.  He also saw some game action at Split End on the offensive side of the ball.  Started at Cornerback in 13 of the teams 14 games.  Ended season with 69 tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries, 20 pass break ups, 1 defensive TD, and 3 interceptions.  Made ‘2nd Team All-County’ for his defensive performance throughout the season.  On the offensive side of the ball, had 3 receptions for 48 yards and 1 TD.  Recorded a career high 10 tackles in the regular season Beech game, also had 4 pass break ups as well as an interception that ended the Bucs chances of coming back.  Led team in tackles against Mt. Juliet with 10.  Recorded his sack against Portland as well as another one of his interceptions.  Had tackles for loss against Gallatin and Springfield.  Had interception versus Springfield.  Recorded a career best 5 pass break ups as well as a fumble recovery against Gallatin in the 2nd Round of the TSSAA 5A playoffs.  His defensive touchdown came off a blocked punt by teammate #48 Colt Cupit against Station Camp.  Caught passes in each of the first 3 games including a 17 yard TD versus Station Camp and a career long 28 yard catch versus Franklin.

2010-Did not play.

2009-Did not play.

2008-Was a critical part of the Freshman team.  Was one of the teams’ top Secondary players on defense as well as being a solid Split End.
