What Does Commando Football Mean To You: COMMANDO football means to me that we come together as a team and strive to be the best. Working hard and dedication is what creates a great football player and those are the qualities COMMANDO football teaches you.

Justin was a great kid with a big heart for the game.  He was a four year player that was a very hard worker and did a great job on both the offensive and defensive lines for the COMMANDOS.  He was also dedicated to the weightroom where he worked as hard as anyone to gain size and strength, and it paid off.  His work ethic helped make him one of the strongest and biggest players on the team, and he was a two year starter at Tackle on the offensive line.  He was also in the rotation on the Defensive Line in both his junior and senior seasons.  He was poised to have a big year in 2014 before suffering a season ending injury in the sixth game of the season.  Ended career with 6 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 QB hurry.  Justin’s work ethic and his love for the game and the COMMANDOS will be greatly missed.

2014-Started at Tackle on offense before suffering a season ending injury in the sixth game of the year.  He was doing a great job on the offensive side of the ball and was a big part of the team being able to break the school record for most rushing yards in the regular season with 3,326 yards.  He was also working his way into a bigger role on the defensive side of the ball at tackle before his injury.  He did record 2 tackles against Gallatin from his spot on the defensive line.

2013-Started several games at tackle on the offensive line, and was in the rotation on the defensive line.  He helped pave the way for the offensive to gain the most rushing yards in school history.  Ended season with 3 tackles on the defensive side of the ball along with 1 tackle for loss and 1 QB pressure.  Recorded tackles against Lebanon, Riverdale, and had 1 in the 6A State Championship Game against Maryville.  His tackle for loss was against Riverdale and he had a QB pressure in the Portland game.

2012-Saw limited game action on the Defensive Line on Friday nights, and played in all of the JV games on the Defensive Line and at Tackle on Offense.  Ended season with 1 tackle that came against Beech.

2011-Was the starting left tackle for the Freshman team.  He had an excellent year at the position and showed his commitment by working hard every day and constantly improving as the season went on.  He also stayed committed to the weightroom working very hard throughout the season as he was one of the strongest players on the team.  Justin wore jersey #76 for the freshman.
