What Does Commando Football Mean To You: Commando Football is a brotherhood beyond just the football field. We would do anything for anyone on the this team, while building confidence and character.

A very smart player that was extremely dedicated to the program, Sam was the team’s starting center during his senior season, and started at center for most of his junior season helping the team win 10 games in each season as well as rushing for a school record 3,326 yards en route to a District 9-AAA Championship in 2014.  Sam also played some on the defensive line and ended his career with 1 tackle that was for negative yardage.  Sam always came to practice with a positive attitude ready to work and make himself as well as his teammates better.  For his efforts during his senior season, he earned 2nd team ‘ALL-COUNTY’ as an offensive lineman.  He was consistent on the offensive line and his leadership and experience in the trenches will be missed.

2015-Was the team’s starting center all season long where he did an excellent job opening holes for the COMMANDO rushing attack.  He was named 2nd team ‘ALL-COUNTY’ as an offensive lineman for his efforts during the season.  He was a very committed, smart player that knew all of the lineman’s assignments and was a leader on the offensive for the COMMANDOS.  He also played defensive line where he saw a little game action.  He did have one tackle that came in the Siegel game and was for lost yardage.

2014-Worked hard in practice every day, and earned the starting position at center for the COMMANDOS on the offensive line.  He did a great job at center helping the team rush for a regular season school record of 3,326 yards as well as scoring a regular season school record 473 points.  His efforts were critical in the team being able to win a District 9-AAA Championship.

2013-Played on the JV team.

2012-Sam was in the rotation on both sides of the ball in the Line positions, and he started in certain offensive packages.  Unfortunately, Sam had to miss several games due to a broken arm mid way through the season, but he was able to be a productive Lineman before and after the injury.  Sam wore jersey #74 for the undefeated Freshman team.
