What Does Commando Football Mean To You: COMMANDO football means working hard with your brothers, knowing that the journey will be difficult but will be worth it after we stand victorious as a family.

Win was a very smart player that was able to be a utility player on the offensive line as he had the ability to play all 5 offensive line positions.  After coming to HHS in 2012, he earned the spot as the team’s starting center during his junior season.  During that season, Win was named honorable mention ‘All-County’ as he helped the team make an appearance in the State Championship Game finishing as state runner up in their first season in class 6A.  During his senior season, Win played mainly guard and tackle on offense while also earning some playing time at tackle on defense.  He again earned honorable mention ‘All-County’ as an offensive lineman for his blocking efforts throughout the season and helped the team win a District 9-AAA Championship.  He was also an excellent student, consistently being on the teams honor roll.  Ended his career with 8 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 QB hurry.  During his two years as being a starting offensive lineman, Win was able to help open holes for ball carriers as HHS was able to break the regular season record for rushing yards in a season with 3,326 yards in 2014 as well as break the season rushing record including playoffs with 4,209 yards in 2013.

2014-Performed a high level on the offensive line for the second straight season, and earned some playing time at tackle on the defensive side of the ball.  Played both guard and tackle on the offensive line throughout the season and helped the team break the regular season school record for rushing yards in a season with 3,326.  For his efforts and ability to play any position on the offensive line, he was named honorable mention ‘All-County’ as an offensive lineman.  Win finished the season on the defensive side of the ball with 8 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 QB hurry.  He recorded a career best 2 tackles in three different games.  He had 2 tackles against Brentwood, Gallatin, and Beech.  He also recorded tackles against Wilson Central and Hunters Lane.  His tackle for loss came in the Hunters Lane contest while his QB pressure was in the Brentwood game.

2013-Had a solid season being the team’s starting Center.  Did a great job and was consistent all year at one of the most important positions on the offense.  With his blocking, along with the rest of the offensive line, the COMMANDOS were able to rush for the most yards in school history as they amassed 4,209 yards on the ground.  The team also ended up #1 in school history for total yards with 5,195 as well as points scored with 534.  Win earned honorable mention ‘All-County’ for his blocking efforts at Center, and helped the team make an appearance in the TSSAA class 6A State Championship Game.

2012-Joined team, and played on the JV squad.

2011-Did not attend HHS.
