What Does Commando Football Mean To You: It means my dedication and my brotherhood.

Joe only attended HHS during his junior and senior years, but did a great job for the COMMANDOS during each of those seasons.  He was one of the hardest hitters on the team and was always ready for practice where he made all of his teammates work hard to keep up with his intensity.  He played Fullback and Linebacker during his junior year, and was a starter on Special Teams as he helped the team make an appearance in the class 6A State Championship Game.  As a senior, he moved from Fullback on offense to Guard where he worked his way into the rotation on the offensive line.  He was able to help the team to a District 9-AAA Championship as well as helping the team rush for a school regular season record of 3,326 rushing yards.  He was a starter on Special Teams for the second consecutive year during his senior season and saw limited game action at Linebacker.  Ended career with 8 tackles on defense, and rushed the ball 3 times for 17 yards.

2014-Moved from Fullback to Guard on the offensive side of the ball, and was a Linebacker on defense.  With his offensive move, he also changed jersey numbers from #47 to #74.  He did a great job for the second straight season being a starter on Special Teams.  He also saw significant playing time on Friday nights at both Guard as well as Linebacker.  Ended season with 8 tackles.  Had a career high 2 tackles in the teams 1st Round playoff game against Independence.  Also recorded tackles against Wilson Central, Hunters Lane, Brentwood, Portland, Station Camp, and Centennial.  As part of the offensive line, he helped the COMMANDOS have a record breaking season for rushing yards during the regular season.

2013-Made an impact on the team as a starter on the Special Teams in his first year at Hendersonville High School.  Helped the COMMANDOS make it to the class 6A State Championship Game through his play on the field as well as his practice habits.  Ended the season with 3 rushing attempts that went for 17 yards.  Had 1 rush for 2 yards against Hunters Lane, and added 15 yards on 2 more attempts against Riverdale.  His career long rush of 14 yards also came against Riverdale.  He learned the offensive and defensive systems and made improvements all year in practice as well as playing on the JV team.  Wore jersey #47 for HHS.

2012-Did not attend HHS.
