What Does Commando Football Mean To You: To have the utmost respect for elders, teammates, coaches, and teachers. To be a great young man.

Bryan had a great four year career in the COMMANDO program.  He had a determination to improve each day, and came to workouts and practice ready to work, be coached, and get better.  Bryan was a two way starter his senior year and did a great job on both sides of the ball playing guard on the offensive line and linebacker on defense.  In addition to offense and defense, he was also a starter on Special Teams and was a very valuable member of the team.  He ended his career with 53 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception, 1 pass break up, and 2 QB hurries.  On offense, he was a consistent blocker up front and greatly helped the offense move the football.  His dedication to the team and great work ethic will be tough to replace as his career comes to an end.

2016-Had an outstanding senior season playing guard on offense and linebacker on defense for the COMMANDOS.  Was an excellent blocker on the offensive line as he helped open holes for the teams rushing attack as well as being solid on pass protection.  On defense, he made calls for the defensive front where he did a great job making sure everyone in the box knew what the call was.  Ended the season with 29 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 QB hurries, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception.  He recorded stops in 7 of the team’s 10 games including having a career high while leading the team in tackles with 7 stops against Siegel.  Also had tackles in the games against Hunters Lane, Gallatin, Cane Ridge, Station Camp, Hillsboro, and East Nashville.  His tackles for loss came versus Siegel, Cane Ridge, and Hillsboro.  Had QB pressures against Cane Ridge and Station Camp.  His pass break ups was versus East Nashville, and his interception was made against Hunters Lane.

2015-After not seeing much playing time through the first 5 games of the season, Bryan worked his way into the rotation at linebacker, and also saw some game action at guard on the offensive line.  Due to his consistent work ethic in practice and his play in JV games, he was an important part of the team as he rotated in at linebacker where he ended the season with 19 tackles and 3 tackles for loss.  Recorded tackles in 6 of the teams last 7 games including a season high 4 tackles versus East Nashville.  He had 1 tackle for loss against Gallatin and added 2 tackles behind the line of scrimmage in the Glencliff game.  He also played in all of the teams JV games, and switched jersey numbers from #91 to #62.

2014-Played on the JV team, and saw a little game action on Friday nights.  Played guard on the offensive line and linebacker on the defensive side of the ball.  Ended season with 5 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 fumble recovery.  Recorded tackles against Wilson Central, Hunters Lane, and had a season high 3 tackles against Portland.  He had 1 tackle for lost yardage against both Hunters Land and Portland.  His fumble recovery came in the Station Camp contest.  Wore jersey #91 for the varsity team.

2013-Was a starter on the offensive line at Guard for the undefeated Freshman squad.  He also saw game action on defense at Linebacker.  He was one of the teams’ hardest workers and came to practice everyday to get better.  He wore jersey #60 for the Freshman team.
