What Does Commando Football Mean To You: A group of men coming together as a 'family' to achieve any obstacle that comes in our path.

Christian was a player that showed COMMANDO PRIDE during his four year career with the COMMANDOS.  He did a great job for the team playing linebacker on defense, tight end on offense, and was a consistent starter on Special Teams.  In his senior season he led the team with 45 tackles and was named honorable mention ‘ALL-COUNTY’.  Ended his career with 74 tackles, 2 tackles for lost yardage, 5 QB hurries, 6 pass break ups, and 1 forced fumble.  He was a very hard worker and attacked the weightroom to make himself better each chance he got.  He also was one of the most consistent practice players, going hard on every snap and forcing his teammates to raise their level of play.  His hard work, ability, and commitment to practicing hard all the time will be missed by the program.

2016-Led the team in tackles from his defensive spot at linebacker with 45 stops during the season.  Recorded at least 2 tackles in 9 of the team’s 10 games, and led the team in tackles twice during the season.  Earned honorable mention ‘ALL-COUNTY’ honors for his efforts throughout the season.  In addition to his 45 tackles, Christian also had 2 tackles for lost yardage, 4 QB hurries, 3 pass break ups and 1 forced fumble.  Led the team in tackles against both McGavock and Cane Ridge.  Against the Ravens, he recorded a career high 9 tackles.  His tackles for loss came versus McGavock and Hunters Lane.  Had 2 QB pressures against Cane Ridge while adding 1 versus Hillsboro and Gallatin.  Had 1 pass break up against Hillsboro, East Nashville, and Station Camp; his forced fumble was in the East Nashville contest.  In addition to his great play on the defensive side of the ball, he was also a starter on Special Teams while seeing significant playing time on offense at tight end.  He was consistent throughout the season on Special Teams making sure he completed his assignment on every Special Teams play he was in on.  At tight end, he had another solid year blocking and helping the teams rushing attack.

2015-Saw significant playing action on both sides of the ball during the season, helping the team compile a 10-2 record.  He played linebacker where he was in the rotation and got better throughout the season.  He also saw snaps at tight end where he was a solid blocker as well as being athletic enough to be a pass threat.  Started on Special Teams all season long where he did a great job.  Recorded at least 1 tackle in all 12 games including a season high 4 tackles in the team’s 1st round playoff victory over Shelbyville.  Ended the season with 25 tackles, 1 QB hurry, and 2 pass break ups.  His QB hurry came in the Gallatin game, and he broke up passes against Cane Ridge as well as Glencliff.

2014-Played on the JV team while seeing limited Friday night game action at tight end as well as linebacker.  He was one of the team’s top practice players, working hard every day to make himself and his teammates better with great effort.  Ended the season with 4 tackles and 1 pass break up.  Had a season high 2 stops versus Mt. Juliet.  Recorded 1 tackle against Gallatin, and 1 versus Hunters Lane while his pass break up was in the Mt. Juliet game.

2013-Was a starter on the offensive line at Guard, and was in the rotation at Linebacker for the undefeated Freshman team.  He did a great job in all three phases of the game as he was also a contributor on Special Teams.  He always came to practice and worked as hard as he could, forcing his teammates to raise their level of play.  His love for his teammates showed that he has COMMANDO PRIDE and will be an asset to the team through his high school career.  He wore jersey #55 for the Freshman team.
